Prestigious Global Recognition

Singapore’s Pan Pacific Orchard has been celebrated as one of the world’s 16 most beautiful new hotels, earning the prestigious World Selection title at the Prix Versailles. This recognition highlights the hotel’s architectural brilliance and ecological efficiency, making it the only Singaporean hotel to achieve this honor.

The Prix Versailles, one of the most esteemed international awards for architecture and design, evaluates contemporary projects across eight categories, including hotels, airports, campuses, and museums. Winners are selected by a distinguished jury of architects, designers, and cultural figures, with results announced annually at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris.

Pan Pacific Orchard’s Distinction

Opened in June 2023, Pan Pacific Orchard is a 23-storey property situated in the heart of Orchard Road. Its innovative design and commitment to sustainable architecture secured its spot on the World Selection list, further enhancing its reputation as a global architectural marvel.

The grand prize for hotels went to South Korea’s Hanok Heritage House, while special recognition for interior and exterior design was awarded to The Ned Doha and The Dolli in Athens, respectively.

Singapore’s Other Achievements

In addition to Pan Pacific Orchard’s accolade, other Singaporean projects also gained recognition at the Prix Versailles. Nanyang Technological University’s Gaia, Asia’s largest wooden building, was named the world’s most beautiful campus, while Changi Airport Terminal 2 received a special prize for its interior design in the airports category.

These awards underscore Singapore’s global standing as a hub for innovative and sustainable architectural achievements.
