🔥 Early Morning Raid in Huntington Park Leaves Family Shaken

A dramatic federal operation unfolded in Huntington Park on Friday morning, as federal agents blasted open a front door and shattered a window at a private residence during a search for Jorge Sierra-Hernandez, a man accused of ramming a federal vehicle during recent immigration protests.

The forceful entry occurred while Sierra-Hernandez’s girlfriend, Jenny Ramirez, and their two young children were inside the home. The man was not present at the time of the raid but later turned himself in and has since been released on bail.

🚪 Door Blasted, Window Shattered, Drone Used to Sweep the Home

According to Ramirez, the raid began without any warning. She was asleep with her baby when a neighbor alerted her to dozens of armed agents outside. Moments later, an explosion shattered a window just inches away from her child, followed by the front door being forcibly blown off.

“If they would’ve knocked, I would’ve opened the door,” Ramirez said. “They didn’t need to blow up my home.”

A drone was deployed inside the house, moving room to room in search of Sierra-Hernandez. At least nine armed agents then stormed the home, removed Ramirez and her children, and only then identified themselves as agents from Homeland Security and ICE.

😱 Children Left Terrified by Shock Tactics

Ramirez described her children as visibly traumatized, shaking in fear as explosions and shouting filled their home. She stated she was not informed of the reason behind the raid until later, when she was told vaguely, “When we find him, he’s going to know why.”

“My ears went blank. I dropped to the floor with my kids. I can’t imagine how they felt,” she recalled.

⚖️ Mayor Condemns Use of Force: “This Family Did Nothing Wrong”

Huntington Park Mayor Arturo Flores condemned the aggressive tactics, calling the incident deeply disturbing and disproportionate.

“This was a family involved in a minor traffic incident, and this is the response?” Flores said. “The emotional trauma and fear inflicted, especially on the children, is beyond comprehension.”

The raid was reportedly connected to a protest in Bell/Maywood the week prior, where federal vehicles were allegedly obstructed. Sierra-Hernandez is accused of ramming a Border Patrol vehicle during that event.

After the raid, agents contacted Sierra directly. According to Mayor Flores, they told him, “Do you know what we did?”—a remark that raised further concerns about the conduct of the officers involved.

📌 Sierra Turns Himself In, Still Unclear on Charges

Sierra-Hernandez later surrendered to federal authorities but said he does not know what charges he’s facing. Meanwhile, his family, especially the children, are coping with the aftermath of a morning filled with fear, destruction, and confusion.

Mayor Flores emphasized that while property damage is measurable, the emotional and psychological damage—especially to innocent children—cannot be quantified.

“This wasn’t justice,” he concluded. “This was trauma.”
