A tragic multi-vehicle crash in Panorama City, Los Angeles, claimed the lives of three people and left another critically injured on Friday night, according to authorities.
The fatal collision occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. in the 9300 block of North Woodman Avenue, involving three vehicles. Emergency crews quickly responded to the scene, where significant damage was reported.
Victims and Injuries Confirmed
Firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department rescued a 35-year-old man who was trapped inside a van. He was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. A second occupant in the same van, a 30-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two additional victims—a 20-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman—were traveling in a Ford Mustang. Both died as a result of the crash.
A third vehicle was also involved in the collision. Three occupants from that car were evaluated at the scene but declined medical treatment.
Road Closures and Ongoing Investigation
Following the crash, a large portion of North Woodman Avenue was closed to traffic for several hours as investigators worked the scene. Drivers in the area were advised to seek alternate routes due to the road closure.
