Father of Baby Emmanuel Seen with Deputies in Moreno Valley
The heartbreaking search for 7-month-old Baby Emmanuel Haro continues in Moreno Valley, California, where his father, Jake Haro, was spotted with deputies and cadaver dogs in a remote field. The area, located near the 60 Freeway and Gilman Springs Road, has become the center of the investigation after both parents were arrested on suspicion of murder.
Officials confirmed Jake Haro, dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit, was brought to the search site with San Bernardino County sheriff’s detectives. However, after hours of searching the rugged terrain filled with dry brush, Emmanuel’s body was not located.

Rebecca Haro had previously told officials that while changing Emmanuel’s diaper outside her vehicle, she was assaulted by an unknown man, knocked unconscious, and awoke to find her baby gone.

Authorities have since conducted extensive searches in Yucaipa and Cabazon, served multiple search warrants at the Haro residence, and reviewed a large amount of surveillance video from key locations.

Public records from Riverside County show that in 2018, Jake Haro pleaded guilty to willful cruelty to a child following a previous arrest. This history adds another layer of concern as the search for baby Emmanuel continues.
